There is the handling time where you remove the film from the envelope, place it into the film holder and the revere this process. A real human looks and does about a minute of work on the image. For that price they actually do some hand work on each frame. Some times they drop prices to maybe 25 cents per frame. You can go to heir web site and look at prices and service but WAIT for one of their very frequent sales. It takes a few minutes per frame at least because you have to at least adjust the color and exposure and maybe some minor dust/scratch busting.
